TWO WHEEL ROAD CART
Great two wheel road cart. This cart can be designed and built for any size pony horse from Mini thru Cobb. There are many variations on this basic design depending on your use, terrain, and horse size. The seat and rear section are the same size on all models--the shaft lengths naturally are different and I recalculate the balance point depending on your horse size and weight being carried. The seat can be cut to any height you wish. This cart has a 48" wide foam padded seat with tooled vinyl upholstery--great for two people. The seat can be as short as 33" for a single user. This cart was finished in red oak with triple poly sealer. The single tree is made of hickory with a two-piece single tree caster mount. Other wood types and some painted models are also available depending on your budget and likes. This model is shown in red tint painted gold enamel. The shafts are also accented with gold metal-flake and then the whole frame is painted with four coats of clear automotive lacquer. The frame is constructed of 1" chrome-moly tubing--the same as used on most race cars. The axle shaft for the wheels are 3/4" steel. As usual, all welds carry a 3 year warranty. There is ample storage under the seat for a cooler, tool box, tack box, or whatever you think you might need "out on the road". This model has 26" spoke steel wheels with pneumatic tires. Wooden spoke wheels are also available with or without rubber depending on use. A seat back is easily added for those wishing to have one.
